Moving along with my YoVille tips series, this tutorial will go over the special and collectible balloons. (The sets are NOT included in this tutorial, and will be covered in the next installment.) As with the other balloons, these are used only on the YoVille.com website. (So, you will need to be logged into either your Facebook or MySpace YoVille account.) Balloons on YoVille.com do NOT affect anything in the game itself, other than if you are buying something that takes YoCoins/YoCash. The balloons in this section are all created by mixing different colors and sizes of solid colored balloons. While it takes a while to save up the balloons to make some of these, it is rewarding to have all of these show in your collection on your profile.
For Parents YoVille is a fun place to be for kids, but keep in mind that it is also a place with frequently available chat areas with people of all ages all over the world. This is just a notice to let you know that reading through the places of chat, your kids may be making friends with people they don’t know. You can take precautions by reading what’s available to you below. Read Your Messages You can read your messages people send you by looking in the top right when you’re in your apartment. You will see an envelope saying Read you messages. Click it to view and reply to people.
Customizing your Character To change the appearance of your character in YoVille, at the top of your menu when you are in your apartment, click change appearance. It will go to a page like above where you can fully customize. Buying New Clothes If you want to buy new clothes for your character but don’t know where to go, open your map in the top left corner, click the building in the bottom center that says Fashion. Talk to the store owner and view the clothes they have for sale. Buy what you want!
Editing your Apartment At the top of your menu when you are in your apartment, or house (however if you own a house, I’m sure you know this by now) go to Edit Room. You’ll see ad type banners, go the my stuff(1) button, then click on and item(2) and drag to where you want it to be in the room. You can do this with multiple items and when you’re done, hit save(3). You’re done! Keep in mind you can’t sell items from your edit room menu. You need to go to your inventory. You can also drag items back into your list if you don’t want to use the or are waiting on using them. Set Wall & Flooring To set your wall and floor patterns, in the same menu as above there is a button at the top saying “Set Wall & Floor Pattern” (in blue) a box will pop up and u can change it that way.
Free Gifts Free gifts are available to send to friends, non yoville friends or only yoville friends. You can send up to 20 requests a day and only 1 gift per person in a 24 hour period. To find how to send gifts to friends, in your yoville box window, in the top left there will be a link saying free gifts. You can choose one of the Limited Edition gifts or the usual gifts. Limited Edition Gifts The Limited Edition Gifts change frequently depending on the demand or holiday, sometimes it is just random house items, but collect them while you can because you know if it says Limited Edition in red it won’t be there long!
Select Your Gender: Your gender can not be editted. Select Your Look: Your look can be edited for free. Select Your Clothing:
