How do I buy a water hose, gloves or a rake?

You cannot purchase these items in the store. When you are asked to help on another farmers farm a screen will pop up telling you what needs to be done e.g. if their farm needs watering it will ask if you want to do that. You will get two options – either Use Water Hose (if you have already bought one before) and Buy Water Hose. You click on this option and you will automatically purchase a water hose with 5 uses.

Mass hiring and sending players to a farm with nothing to harvest. This is done to clear the room of competetion. The devs have put a fix in to stop this but there are ways to get around the fix. There is nothing you can do about it and odds are you will not return to the same room as before. You can leave a message but most likely it will be laughed at. Telling people about the farmer and farm name doesn’t help since they can be changed quickly.

Trees are a common gift from one farmer to another, and they’re a great source of coins over a slightly longer period than crops. Also, note that the fruit that grow on trees never, ever go bad, so you can forget about them for as long as you like, and still be able to harvest them.

Here’s a list of the trees you can currently grow on Farm Town, including how long each one takes to grow its fruit:

Apple Tree – 3 days
Lemon Tree – 3 days
Orange Tree – 3 days

Why can’t I sell the items on my farm?

To be able to start selling items on your farm e.g. animals, trees etc… you need to have earned the Influential Neighbours Trophy. To earn that trophy you have to have 8 neighbours (Facebook Friends that are playing Farm Town).

I won a trophy and it says I have got $500 to spend in the store – is this correct?
