You’ve seen them in Pet Society, you’ve seen them in Country Story. Well now, I’m happy to announce that Mystery Boxes have arrived in Restaurant City too!

Try your luck when you purchase a new Mystery Box! What item will you get? Will it be a Cherry Blossom Tree? A Grandiose Gold Statue? Maybe it will be a rare item that is exclusive to the Mystery Boxes such as the Pink Bunny Arcade Machine, or the Black Unicorn. Remember, these items are only available for a limited time! Get yours before they’re gone! Here is a peek at the exclusive items that can only be found in Mystery Boxes:

The Sushi bar displays your royal japanese dishes and two customers can stand and eat at the bar! To get your sushir bar, learn the salmon sashimi dish to level 10
For that you need to collect salmon and wasabi

- ask your friends to gift or trade with you
- gift some to your friends they might send some back
- look for mystery boxes in your friends restaurants
- buy them with cash

The Salmon Sushi dish needs two Salmons and one Wasabi. That’s a total of twenty Salmons and ten Wasabis to reach level 10. You can check your progress by clicking on the Sushi Bar icon that’s located right next to the Ingredient Market.

Mystery crates are added in Restaurant City this week. They can contain a random item, which includes the ingredients for the Salmon Sashimi. When you find a Mystery Crate, you must post a feed to your friend’s wall. If the friend accepts the Mystery Crate and posts a feed back to your wall, you can now claim the random reward.

The Hot Cross Buns is a dessert dish and requires one Easter Spice, one Raisins, one Chick Figurine, and one Bread.

The Easter Lamb with Herbs. Easter Lamb with Herbs recipe require one Lamb, one Easter Spice, One Easter Egg, and one Chick Figurine.

The Hot Easter chocolate can be learned by trading in two Chocolate Bunnies, one Easter Egg, and one Chick Figurine.

Chocolate Egg

Lasts: 30 days. The recipe requires four ingredients,  Easter Spices, an Easter Egg, a Chocolate Bunny, and a Chick Figurine.

1. Make sure you make one menu of each food category get level 10. And then, you use it for your restaurant menu, so you will get 2,8 gourmet point each customer eat. For example, my first menu for starter is Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil, my main is Spaghetti Carbonara, and my dessert is Banana Split. After I finish this three menu to level 10, and then I try to complete another menu ^^

2. I suggest DO NOT choose menu that contain these ingredients : prawn, flour, tomato, potato, salad. That ingredients really HARD to get

3. When you want to choose what menu should you develop, make sure all ingredients are different. Example, my three menu contain bacon, egg, pasta, cream, banana, ice cream, tomat, basil, and bread. No same ingredients at all. Why?? because it will help you easier to get 10 items each ingredients than try to find 20 or more than that ^^

4. Get a lot of friends as possible. Be polite. Don’t delete your friend too fast. Remember.. not every player always online on RC. And they are maybe have different time with your place. And some of them have trouble connection so can’t come to your resto fast ^^ wait at least 6 hours before deleting them ^^ (I am deleting them after 12 hours)

5. If you have friend who trade you. And you think the trade is fine. Keep that friend and never delete them. He will be your precious trading friend later. ^^ (I am not keeping someone who ask my one star with 3-5 star, but I will keep someone who trade me with the same star or at least one star below)

6. Join some group about restaurant city ^^ you will find a lot of player that you can add.. or you can ask them to add you (it is your decision). I like to approve friend, because I am promise before, that I won’t delete them 12 hours from I am approve them.

7. I suggest NEVER trade your one star with 3-5 star. Because one star is really hard to get. You can see the quantity different between one star and two star.

8. Write on excel or other application the items that you need. So when somebody trading you, you are not confuse to accept or decline it. Just decline if they ask the item that you need ^^ For better list, I write the quantity of the ingredients, the star of the ingredients, and the menu level that I need. You can see my pic for better explanation ^^ So, if someone trade my lemon and give me onion, I will accept it, since only 2 level left for onion ^^

9. Reading on forum the answer of the quiz ^^ so you won’t failed to answer the quiz ^^

By no time you will get this award

1. If you still confused what is restaurant City, you can read Restaurant city guide

2. Focus to rise ONLY 1 of your dishes at level 10 in each three categories (Starter, Main, Desert) or you can buy ingredients at Restaurant city fresh ingredients store

3. Make sure you KNOW items that you will trade to others. Every items has their own rarity. 1-5 star mostly show their rarity. One star is the rarest items and star 5 is not.
Every star has THE MOST rare items.
For example, Start 1 rare items are: ONION, SALAD, FLOUR,TOMATO and POTATO.
Level 2 are : Cream, Rice, cheese and Egg.
Level 3 are : Prawn.

4. Think EFFECTIVE when you design your restaurant layout. This is basic rules of creating Restaurant City Layout :
a. Try to create your waiters not walk to much. Circle table is the best for me. This is my friends table example.

b. Put queue before they able to reach your table. It will make your customer take time before they sit on table or complain they do not get chair. The rating will increased rapidly. But don’t make too long maze. This is my friends table example. But this only effective for level below 17. After that I suggest not put queue/maze ^^

c. Toilets only need 4-5. But if you don’t want to have it its ok too. One cleaner will needed for this. I like to use cleaner than ask her as cooker. My experiments still fine with it. But it depend on your favorite. Since I dont want loose popularity because toilets complain

d. Stove price doesn’t resemble the cook speed. It only for decoration. Safe your money before you buy different stove.

5. Take care your Worker Health. Lower energy=slower works

6. If you want to increased level fast, always open your RC windows but minimize it. It will affect your browsing /download speed.

7. If you only need money, close your RC application while your restaurant still open. Check it every 45 minutes. The power will be around 75% and earn money less than 2000. That’s perfect time to give ‘water’ to your worker and close the application again. You will not loose money because of that and you PC will not work to hard

Restaurant City Beginners

Customize your Restaurant City character – After starting up Restaurant City, you’ll be presented with the ability to change the look of your Restaurant City avatar. There you can change your character’s clothing, his/her facial features, skin colour, and hair color. Changing your Restaurant City character’s look is simply a personal preference and there is no game based advantage of doing it. Despite this however, Playfish has done a great job of giving the user lots of control here and making it fun to do.

Moving your Restaurant City character – Unlike some other games, you can’t move your character to complete common tasks. However, you can assign them jobs to do in which they will maintain a posted position during the game.

Customizing your restaurant – In the beginning of the game, you are given one stove and three tables with three chairs to furnish your restaurant. As you earn more money and attain new Restaurant City levels you can buy more things like decorations, tables, ovens, chairs, windows, walls, floors, doors, and fireplaces. You can even build on to your restaurant and thereby increase your sales to make a lot more money.
