Frontierville Crops
This latest Frontierville Tip is all about crops. This is probably what Frontierville has borrowed from Farmville. But this time, crops need attention more than ever. They are your steady source of food and coins and knowing what to plant at a certain level can mean a lot especially when you’re trying to maximize your earnings.
Crops can be bought on the Market which can be found on your dashboard . On the earlier stages of the game, you really need to budget your coins for these plants. I have made the mistake of not allocating enough money for crops which I think made my early game progression slow. If only I had known better!
There’s a simple catch though and that is you do not readily have the access to all crops. There’s a certain level requirements for the higher end crops. But you can also bypass these by consuming your horseshoes which I think is not really a good idea since you cannot really afford the higher level plants and they take quite some time before you can harvest. I have made a breakdown on some of the stuff I’ve learned regarding crop rotation on Frontierville.
- On early levels it is wise to focus on tomatoes and pumpkins but i’d prefer the former since its much quicker to harvest and recycle your money.
- Plant Long-Term Crops. When I say long term, it means crops that needs to take awhile before they are ready to harvest. For example, Wheat, Peas and up.
- If you’re a casual player of this game, focus on planting Flax, they offer the most value for those who do not spend the whole day on their homestead. Eight hours is such a nice interval especially to those who are working.
- Do Not Clear Withered Crops- Yes, I have committed this mistake several times, It took me awhile to notice that withered crops can be revived by your neighbors. So the next you miss to harvest your crops and they wither, just call out to your friends to revive them for you.
