There is more to the Storage Cellars and the Shovels which can be used for more than increasing the capacity. As you collect Shovels, you will also gain “points” and you can redeem them for prizes. Have in mind that redeeming the presents will take away the points from you, but not the storage space (or shovels!). Here is a confirmed list of Storage Cellar Redeem prizes:

How to get the Storage Cellar in FarmVille?
You don’t really have to do anything – a pop-up message will let you know that the Storage Cellar is here and one will be automatically placed in your inventory. Just click it from there and place it anywhere on your farm. The best part about it? It occupies a small amount of space, so you’ll barely notice that it’s there! Really cool! (Please note: the storage is only awarded to players level 16 or above!)
The Mystery Animal Collection is a Collection that contains items which can be acquired from Mystery Gifts. Collect all 5 items and you will receive a free stuffed bear statue. Items to collect are : Studded Leash, Spiked Collar , Cute Bow , Golden Bowl , and a Fancy Treat.

The Mystery Animal is a Limited Edition item which appeared in the Market on August 18th 2010. It costs 50 Horseshoes, gives 10 XP and is available for 12 days.
From the description in the event pop-up, it seems buying/opening the box or feeding the animal will give a chance of finding an item from the Mystery Animal Collection. There are three different animals: Owl, Hedgehog and Rabbit, possibly in 3 different colours each.
Pigpen is an Unreleased storage building in FarmVille. It is assumed that it will hold pigs. It has been said it will be coming soon to farmville and has been seen in the database
You will need to collect all the pieces with this pigpen to build it, this will work exactly like the nursery barn and horse stable, and will need to collect 10 of each piece. Below is the stages of building the pigpen.
