Storage Tiki Options
After clicking on the Storage Tiki you will be given four options. These options are:

* All Trees and Flowers
* All Decorations
* All Animals
* Everything!

Click on the option you want. A pop-up will appear making sure you want to move the selected option. Click the green check mark if you do and the red x if you do not want to move the items.

Island Paradise Advent Calendar

The Island Paradise Advent Calendar is apart of the Christmas theme going on in Island Paradise right now. Island Paradise Advent Calendar started on December 1st and will go until the 31st. You will receive a prize each day you login.

Keep in mind if the reward is coins it will automatically be applied when you login to the game so you don’t need to worry about collecting the prize. The rest will be in your gift box.

Island Paradise Monkey

Note: You can only have one monkey. Despite being an animal the monkey can not be leveled up by brushing and does not learn tricks like other pets.

How it works

Monkeys are great and really help you out on your island! They can harvest your trees, animals and crops as long as you give him enough Mystic Bananas. Mystic bananas give your monkey power and can be gifted and purchased in the store for Meteor Credits. If you purchase them, you’ll get 100 power for 25 MCs and each gifted banana gives you 20 monkey power.

Click your monkey to see your options:

• “Nope, just harvest!” or “Yes, replant my crops!” Choose what option you want and then click “Start working” and he’ll go off and do everything! Each action costs one monkey power.

• Hover over your monkey to see his status; Idle or Working. If he’s set to “working” you can click on him to turn him off by clicking “Stop working.”

• If he is set to “working” and you reload the game, he will immediately set off to work if there is work to be done.

• “Nope, just harvest!” setting will make your monkey harvest trees, animals, crops and then replow the ground.

• “Yes, replant my crops!” setting will make your monkey harvest trees, animals, crops and then replow the ground and then replant what ever they harvested.

Note: If you click on the banana bubble above the monkey’s head you will be taken to the Boost page of the Shop. Be sure to click on the actual monkey if you want to access the options page.

Random facts and tips:

• The maximum banana power you can have is 400.
• If you get Mystic Bananas from a gift it will go to your giftbox. You will have to click ‘Use’ in your giftbox to give your monkey the banana power.
• If you buy Mystic Bananas the power will go directly to your monkey. Since you can only have 400 power you can not purchase Mystic Bananas if your power is above 300.

This Limited Edition item is available for 450 MC starting on July 22, 2010 and gives 1 xp when bought. The description reads “Contains 1 of 5 exclusive MC jungle themed surprises that can’t be found anywhere else!” True to its description, all items inside the Jungle Mystery Crate cannot be bought elsewhere.

What you get from the Jungle Mystery Crate is entirely random however, so there is no way to pick and choose, or to “increase” your chances. It is possible to receive the same item more than once if you purchase the crate more than once.

This crate is not the same object as the Mystery Crate or the Mystery Gift Box, nor will it give the same items as the other two. Everything found in the Summer Mystery Crate is a decoration.

Below you’ll find all the recipes currently available in the game. For details on how this works, see Cooking. If you think the chart below is altogether incorrect and you have a better explanation, read Cooking Investment.

For each recipe below, the following items are listed: Level of stove required, Time to cook, Ingredient Value if sold instead of cooked, Ingredient Cost to plant, Profit made by Cooking the ingredients instead of selling them, Total Profit made after considering the cost to plant any ingredient items. Explanatory notes are below the table.

Recipes can be upgraded by cooking a lot of the same one. You can check how many by hovering over the first star on the recipe you want to cook.

Stars mark the number of upgrades you have. Once you have gained the star, it turns yellow. Stars indicate how likely you are to make an “excellent” recipe. For each star you gain, you gain 10% in the chances you’ll make an excellent recipe, to the maximum of 3 stars, or 30%. An excellent recipe is one that gives you 1 additional xp when you harvest it. You can tell a recipe is an excellent one when you go to harvest it. The stove you have it cooking in will have large round sparkles rising from it along with the steam. Excellent recipes will not give you more coins. Thus they are not a separate item when you harvest it. It will stack with the other recipes.

Gaining a star will also give you experience. For the first star, you gain 25xp, and can make a post for your neighbors to give 10xp. For the second, you gain 50xp and your post gives 25xp. For the third and final star, you gain 100xp and your post gives 50xp.

Buying this item will unlock the ability to level up your animals and increase the number of animals allowed on your island.

To move an animal into your barn. Click move right next to it ( you can also rename ) and then it will ask you if you want to move an animal into the barn.

Animals:

- The bar increases your animal limit
- you can rename and brush your animals
- brush and harvest to fill animal hearts
- earn xp points when filling hearts
- level-up animals by filling the xp bar
- bigger levels give bigger harvests

Barn Upgrades:

Get your friends to gift you supplies so you can upgrade your barn! Every time you upgrade your animal limit will increase by 2. Each upgrade will need more supplies than the last and the final upgrade of your barn will earn you a trophy!

Here’s what you can get:

The recipe is unlocked for 200 coin and takes 3 minutes to cook, thus it it classified as a fast recipe. It requires 2 Chocolate  to cook. (The chocolate is obtained by cooking the recipe Chocolate, read below.) Chocolate Bunnies can be sold for 60 coin each.

The Chocolate Bunny needs to be cooked 29 times to obtain the first star, 88 times to obtain the second star, and 176 times to obtain the third and final star.

Island Paradise Chocolate Recipe:

Chocolate is a level 1 recipe that is unlocked by paying 100 coin. It takes 5 minutes to cook (but is a slow recipe) and requires 1 Cacao bean to cook. The finished product can be sold for 24 c. The Cacao bean is obtained from the Cacao Tree.

Chocolate needs to be cooked 14 times for the first star, 44 times for the second star, and 88 times for the third star.

Chocolate can be used to cook Chocolate Bunny.
